Tote bag refashion - Ruffles and Stuff inspired

As promised I'm back with new ideas and tutorials to share. Today I will present you my first tutorial (wow actually my first ever "published" tutorial - so please be kind:D ).

I love Disney from Ruffles and Stuff!!! She is great. All her projects, ideas and tutorials are very inspiring, cute and easy to do!

Here is one of her creation that inspired me for my project today:

Let's learn together series - Photo = 1000 words

Photo

Because a photo is worth 1000 words he should reconsider the way we photograph our work. It is after all the "thing" that makes customers buy your product. And what happens if we have poor quality pictures, crowded backgrounds or unrepresentative pictures? They will buy from the competition:(...and we don't want that to happen!

So here are a few things to consider before jumping to photos:)...

• Focus on the item (you don't want a blurry image)
• Keep the background simple (you want your item to be the centre of attention)
• Don't put text or bling-blings on the photo (let it speak for itself)
• Use a white background
• Use live models when possible (people prefer to see the items on a person rather than on a plastic dummy)
• Take photos from different angles
• Use natural light and plenty of it
• Focus on details

See? Not that hard ...and it really works!!!

Just when I was complaining about UK weather...I take it all back...we had two fabulous sunny weeks and apparently it is going to last all summer! Happy me!

Pimp my T-shirt

Good morning everyone!

This is my recent project. I love to buy plain T-shirts and then personalise them, like I did with this one...

I attached lacy ribbon to the neck line ...

and made some pom-poms out of the same ribbon to attach at the bottom of the T-shirt.

Super simple and super cheap!

Exam period = less time for fashion :(

Unfortunately the exam period is fast approaching and ...

EXAM = less time for fashion, less time for walks in the park, less craft time:(...less time for everything and more time for study, reading, journals and essays...

That is why this week's outfit is one sport/ casual...less fuss still fab!

I like to cook...too bad I don't find time to try everything I'd wish.

Recently I found these on www.bakerella.com (she is THE best, I sooo envy her for her talent). I did try them...not a 100% success but not a total failure. Practice makes perfection...I will post mine when are closer to the original. For now...enjoy PERFECTION!
